Scratch Disk SpaceThere is scratch disk space available for NYBLue users. Unlike your home directory, it is not backed up, and we reserve the right to purge your scratch space files. If you use it, please keep your total disk consumption in it reasonably sized, since you are sharing it with other users, and since when it reaches capacity, unless users release some space, it may be necessary for us to purge files in it. To create scratch disk space for your NYBlue username, create a subdirectory for your username under: /gpfs/scratch1 You can use the df command to decide upon which of those to use. Example:
johndoe@fen:/gpfs> df -k |
